A public education campaign helping young surfers and visitors read local conditions and stay safe in the water.

Since 2007, the Noosa Shire has held the prestigious UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status, a testament to Noosa's commitment to sustainable living, where the community balances everyday life with the protection of its landscapes, crystal-clear waters and diverse wildlife. The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation needed key safety messages to reach young surfers and tourists, people who often don't know the local conditions, in a way they would actually stop and read.

We were commissioned to design a visually engaging public education campaign, turning the key messages into clear, friendly graphics and products for the beach, online and print. Simple language, bold visuals and one consistent look tie every piece back to the Biosphere.

A campaign that speaks to young surfers and visitors in their own language, helping more people enjoy Noosa's waters safely and with respect for the environment.
